It’s hard to believe that Victoria turns 16 tomorrow. While the last few months have been different than we would have anticipated, some things have not changed. Victoria was able to get back to work a bit after she finished her exams and could not be happier to be covered in grease again.
She had a set-back one week where we think she may have had a virus, but fortunately her cat, Smith, and Calvin and Hobbes kept her company until she felt better.
This week she had her one-month check-up at the St. Jude affiliate in Charlotte. All of her tests and lab work came back perfectly normal so that was good news. Mark was able to take her to a go-kart track as an early birthday treat in Charlotte since there are none in our area. Based on the picture, I’d say she had a good time. :-)
We are thankful that she is feeling better and able to do the things she loves. We are also incredibly thankful for all the prayers, cards, emails, gifts, and visits throughout this time. We continue to feel very supported and loved.
Feel free to wish Victoria a Happy Birthday in the comments.
Happy New Year to you all!
Victoria you are a 16 year old Rock Star. Am so very happy you are enjoying car machinery work. I never told anyone but it crossed my mind several times in high school to learn how to fix a car. My amazing Dad wanted me to be a nurse.
Happy Sweet Sixteen and many more sweet birthdays ahead. I just love you being you. Aunt weezie
Happiest of birthdays to you! We have been thinking about you and keeping you in our prayers. What a blessing and honor it is to keep up with your journey. You got this! Lots of love and hugs, the Cliftons
